Waiting and Seeking

Have you ever been in a long season of life that for one reason or another never seems to come to some sort of end or close?  It has been that way for me for going on 11 years now.  Some may say it is a season of being refined, some may say trials, some may say it is just the way life is. Out of all of those previously listed, that last one, to me at least, would be the one that beings no hope at all.

Hope, as Paul wrote in Romans, has been poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit.  It isn't a giddy feeling, or a false reasoning Paul gave.  I believe it is fact.  Why?  As Paul's letter to Titus states, "God never lies."  Therefore, I have hope.  He never lies, I can believe what He says and all that He says.

Some have other sources for basing their hope, eventually though anything devised by "mankind" will show itself unable to give the Hope that never leaves. People can only hope to influence another person and by the grace of God they can.  Ultimately, the ability to influence must be from The Lord working within where no one but Him can see.  By His Spirit it comes forth from the life of the one touched.
Have you allowed the Lord to fill you, speak to you, mold you so that He can change you, therefore influencing others to change, and to ultimately bring Him glory?
