If you like romantic suspense, then you’ll definitely want to read To Write a Wrong.  Robin Caroll has created a story that is hard to put down.  This is the second book in her “Justice Seekers” series.  The first book is titled, Injustice for All.  She plans to write a third book in the series.  The author has done a good job in developing the characters and their emotions with some characters from the previous novel appearing in this one.
Riley Baxter doesn’t believe Armand Wilson is guilty of the crime he has been put in prison for.  She has come to Louisiana for a last attempt to jump start her journalism career.  If she can’t get a good story this time, then she will be fired.  She sees Armand’s teenage daughter and identifies with her feelings of anger at the injustice committed against her family.  Riley’s own mother and father were killed by a drunk driver, and Riley has not been able to forgive the offender even though she is a Christian and knows God wants her to forgive.  She begins to interview Armand’s family and reads the transcript of the trial.  She can’t believe the jury convicted him on such circumstantial evidence.  She vows to prove his innocence and at the same time get her career back on track by writing a series of articles on what her investigation reveals.
Hayden Simpson is the police commissioner.  He spends his time working a lot and helping his mother deal with his sister, Emily, who has bipolar disease.  He has a hard time trusting women as his mother has lied to him about the past, and his sister lies to him just to get him riled up.  He is a Christian, who doesn’t date much because “his standards are too high” according to his sister.  He meets Riley and decides to help her in her investigation, but he has his hands full with another case too.  Are the two cases connected?  He and Riley like each other immediately and both hope a relationship will develop.  But Riley lives in Tennessee and he lives in Louisiana so how will a relationship work?
As the case progresses, Riley continues to dig deeper into the past, but someone is adamant that she stop her investigation.  What lengths will the perpetrator go to as he must ensure Riley doesn’t uncover his secret?  Can Hayden find the criminal?  Can he protect Riley?
Fans of mystery and suspense will want to pick up a copy of this book.  The time will pass quickly as you won’t be able to put this one down!
My rating is 4 stars.

This whole series is so worth reading! They excel at suspense and grabbing the heart of the reader, pulling them into the plethora of happenings in the book. The series has a total of four books that can be read as stand-alone stories though I found reading them in order helped enhance my understanding of the plot and characters.
The titles in order are: Convenient Lies, Twisted Lies followed by Generous Lies, which comes before this final novel I am sharing my thoughts on today.Robin weaves such a well-crafted plot that brings the reader into the story from the first page, and then keep turning the pages with all the twists and turns in the plot.I felt like I was right there observing what was happening around me even though I was reading the book.
Time flew by quickly and I was unaware of what was going on around me because I was lost in the pages!Right th…
