Here is an excellent tool to equip the Body to feed the spirit and stretch our faith muscles!  For a long time now I have been a proponent of really saturating my life with the Word and have been blessed to have a travel companion on the same journey.  In this study, readers will be encouraged to read through the entire book of Romans.  As a help so as not to overwhelm us, a reading guide is included in the appendix.
The author uses The Voice translation throughout the book, but also suggests reading from any version that might be more preferable.  The study is not a verse by verse exposé on Romans, but principles shared with us are found in the book of Romans.  A question that people ask in various seasons of life is addressed in the book which is, “Who am I in Christ?”  Where we get our identity really tends to send us on a path in life that can be filled with adventure, revelations and hope.
The format is designed for participants to begin with prayer, followed by Big Picture, Context, Original Audience and Stand Out Moments.  I see where the design of the study teaches truths about who we are in Him along with how we can approach any book in the Bible so as to come away closer to Him than before.  The Come Together section that closes each chapter may or may not be of use to readers, depending on how one utilizes the study.
Grab a copy or two, ask God to see if He would have you study with someone or by yourself with Him alone.  Either way, you don’t want to forego drawing near to Him as He longs for us to!
My rating is 5 stars.
