My rating 5 out of 5 stars.
Before I share about this book, know that the next book in
the series comes out October 2017 titled Local
Artist. Ever hear “don’t judge a
book by its cover”? Well, don’t let the
shortness of the story make you think it isn’t worth reading because this is
one awesome story! It is part mystery
along with danger, adventure and maybe a budding romance. The main character is Rob Seaton who is just
doing his job one day, delivering his packages when a young woman steps out right
in front of his van. Rob is put on a
path where public outcry is huge even though this incident is ruled an
accident. Rob’s feet are now on a path
he never imagined and plunged into a world he knows little to nothing of.
I couldn’t put the book down. The story kept drawing me further and further
into the pages. Readers get to follow
Rob around as he deals with his feelings about the accident and learn about Laney,
the local poet so many loved and followed.
What is revealed is interesting and makes you want to keep going to see
just where the plot will take you, but don’t assume you know! The author does a great job of twists, turns
and suspense with the ending being heart-stopping!
Personally, I cannot wait to read his next book coming out
later this year!
